Florian Thalhofer ist der Erfinder des Korsakow-Systems, einer Software zur Erstellung nichtlinearer, regelbasierter Filme. Er studierte Visuelle Kommunikation und Experimentelle Mediengestaltung an der Universität der Künste in Berlin, und an der UCLA in Los Angeles.

Gastdozent an der UdK, Berlin 2001-2004 und 2009/10, Gast-Professor am Deutschen Literaturinstitut, Leipzig 2005 - 2006.

Er veröffentlichte zahlreiche Korsakow-Filme, zuletzt [Vergessene-Fahnen] und [13terShop].

Florian Thalhofer, geboren 1972, wuchs in einer bayerischen Kleinstadt auf.

Matt Soar is a graphic designer, intermedia artist, and associate professor of communication studies at Concordia University in Montreal.

He is co-director of Adventures in Research/Creation (www.a-r-c.ca) and collaborates with Florian on the continuing development of the Korsakow System. (Alas, it took him five years to realize the significance of the Korsakow user interface not having a timeline in it.) Matt sees Korsakow as a vital tool for 21st Century storytellers, many of whom aren't programmers.

Der Schriftsteller Tobias Hülswitt war Gründungsmitglied des Korsakow-Instituts und hat diesem 1 1/2 Jahre angehört.
